Scheduling Appointments:
- A doctor's referral is not required for massage therapy services; however, some private health insurance companies do require a doctor's referral prior to the commencement of treatment, if you wish to be reimbursed. Patients are strongly advised to contact their healthcare insurance providers BEFORE scheduling their initial appointment to ensure their benefits provide coverage for massage therapy, the amount ($) of coverage and of any pre-requisites for approval.
- NEW patients are required to pre-pay (ie. credit card) for their initial appointment at the time of booking. Future appointments will not require pre-payment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
- I understand that situations arise and you may need cancel or reschedule your appointment. Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life: illness, family emergency, car problems, business meetings, and weather conditions are common reasons.
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment to avoid a fee/penalty.
- Rescheduling an appointment with less than 24 hours notice may result in a late rescheduling fee (50% of the amount of your appointment).
- Cancellation an appointment with less than 24 hours notice will result in a late cancellation fee (the full amount of your appointment).
- Patients may cancel or reschedule an appointment by phone 905.466.6763 - please leave a voicemail message, if necessary.
Missed Appointments (No Shows):
- In the event that you do not arrive for a scheduled appointment, it will be considered a “no-show”.
- Patients will be billed the full amount of the value of their “No Show” appointment. Payment must be arranged prior to scheduling any future booking. For patients enrolled in packages & programs, the appointment will be deducted from your account.
- Additionally, patients who No-Show two (2) or more times may be required to pre-pay for future appointments or dismissed from the practice (denied any future appointments).

Billing & Payment:
- Payment for service will be collected at the conclusion of your appointment.
- Clients pay for services and will be issued a receipt to submit to their (extended health) insurance provider/company for reimbursement. Direct billing to insurance companies is not offered.
- Tipping is not required or expected.
Special Notice:
- I run a small private clinic and I do NOT accept Motor Vehicle Accident (M.V.A.) & Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (W.S.I.B.) cases. No exceptions.
